General Information

The Rusty Club is a fan club for ~javsthemute's cat Rusty, as well as a general cat lovers club. Everyone is welcome, even those who do not have any cat-related deviations. The only requirement for joining is a love for cats (and/or a love for Rusty).

Club members may submit their feline-related deviations for display here as often as they want. Deviations will need to be approved by ~javsthemute or =dudemister before they are put on display, not for quality but for relevance to the club. Deviants of all skill levels are welcome here.

Contests

Contests will be held periodically, either for prizes or fame, depending on how supportive our members are and whether we receive any donations (monetary or otherwise).

To Join

If you would like to join The Rusty Club, just +deviantWatch us and send a note to this account with the subject "Join". You may include a reason for wanting to join the club, but this is not required. If you are approved, and you almost certainly will be, we will +deviantWatch you and your avatar will be added to the Members list. You should also display the club icon at the bottom of your journal entries by typing : icontherustyclub : (but without the spaces). Once you are a member, you may submit as many relevant deviations as you'd like.

To Submit

To submit anything to The Rusty Club, you must first become a member of the club. See the above section titled "To Join" if you aren't a member yet.

If you are a member, all you have to do to submit a deviation is send a note to the club with the subject "Submit" and links to the full view of the deviation(s) you want to submit. The deviation(s) will be reviewed for relevance and will be posted at the club if accepted. (Again, almost everything will be accepted, no matter the quality.) Deviations displayed at the club will have comments disabled (unless you request otherwise or the deviation is made specifically for this club) and will prominently display a link to the original. It will be made clear that all favourites are to go to the creator of the deviation, not to the club.

There has been some confusion when it comes to submitting multiple deviations at one time. You do not have to send a separate note for each deviation you are submitting, you may include all of them in one note. This probably ends up being easier for you and for us.

You may contact the club through any of the following methods:

Note - Click the "Send a note" button near the top of the club page. We will try to read and respond to all notes in a timely manner. (We aim for within 24 hours, but that isn't always possible.)

Email - Click the Email link under "Devious Information". You will need to remove the "DELETETHIS" part of the address before sending. The added text is a precaution to avoid unnecessary spam from bots. We will try to read and respond to all emails in a timely manner. (We aim for within 24 hours, but that isn't always possible.)

AIM - If, for some reason, you desperately need to contact ~javsthemute right away, you may contact me through AOL Instant Messenger using the screen name "javsthemute". I will not always be online, however. Please try to avoid this contact method if at all possible, as it is inconvenient for everyone involved.
